The Photoset

You stared at this image. You wondered what it's all about. You're interested because it makes you feel like one of those Creepypasta stories lurking in the Internet since forever.

You looked at the second image. You wondered why the legs were moved downward. Did something happen? Surely, it is not an animated GIF. You kept scrolling past the Read More line break below because you wanted to find out more about this body.

Aren't you the curious one?

Well then, here's what happened next.

Until finally, the body was gone from the picture below.

You remember now: you saw this photoset many few times on Tumblr and Instagram, but it was somewhat banned on Facebook because of its disturbing nature. You couldn't remember how it ended or what it was about, but you still dared to find out.

All you could do all day after slouching from your phone or laptop was to keep thinking about this photo. It got you so curious as to who did it. Who could be so horrible as to take a feet selfie on the grass while dying or while being murdered? Questions raced on your head.

When you went to check your phone, you realized that the desktop was changed to this.

You did not set that desktop wallpaper. You noticed your laptop had the same desktop wallpaper which you didn't really pick. Feeling anxious, you check to see if all of your files are safe. The seem to be, but ALL of the images you see on every folder displayed like this.

Feeling even more anxious than before, you slammed the laptop, opened the door and went outside to see the stars for a while. It was 12 midnight.

You felt a bit calmer now.

However, as you went inside and saw the paintings that surrounded your house, you couldn't recognize them anymore. They were all displaying the same image.

You looked terrified.

It wasn't the same dead body image, but something perhaps worse. You don't know what it is, but it's creeping you out. You look away.

You keep looking away...

...and away...

...ignoring everything...

...until you finally calmed down again.

You realized you were so far away from your house. The moon is so high up in the sky as the cold wind gave you goosebumps. Strangely, even the moon itself is changing shape.

You realize that this was from the paintings you "saw" on your walls. Maybe it's a planet? You don't know for sure.

Suddenly, you hear a voice.

"Mommy...Daddy..."

It was the voice of a little boy, whispering in your ear. You feel terrified, but you wanted to follow the voice.

As you went through the dark, endless field of grass in the middle of the night, you struggled to find the boy and the following whispers.

"I'm tired. Let me go."

Said a much more mature voice, somewhere in his 20s.

"I wanna go home. Nobody loves me."

Said the kid voice again, but with a slightly older tone.

"It's okay, no one understands me."

Said the same matured voice, but for some reason, it was glitching and switching from child to adult to teen in a weirdly distorted manner. You couldn't make up your mind who is really speaking to you, but you follow its voice.

You start to feel some tingling sensation behind your ears, making you stop. You feel like someone has been caressing you. You see a pair of glitching, black and white hands in 8bit pixel getting its grip tighter and tighter on your body. You couldn't move an inch. All you could do is freeze in fear and try to scream as much as you could but nothing happened.

The hands seem to have let you go.

You see a pair of legs with white rubber shoes - the same as in the photoset.

Now, you remember.

-------------------

As you saw the suspects take photos of their murderous act, you swept in and used the steel pipe to knock them out cold to keep them from hurting your friend further.

You approach your friend, but he only smiled. He could only barely move an inch.

Out of guilt, you picked up a glass shard on the ground and rip off your wrists with blood. The pain meant nothing because you were too late to save your friend, who had already cut himself more than 30 times due to constantly getting bullied, harassed, humiliated and sexually abused. This was the last time, and you were too late to do anything.

You didn't want to remember this day anymore.

-----------------

You didn't want to remember this day anymore, so you've been taking beta blockers to cope with the traumatic experience. It makes you forget a few memories or so. It made you forget that this "Creepypasta" that has been lurking around the Internet was really him. It was the ghost of your friend. People often see him as some bloody victim with a normal lower body but a glitch upper body in 8bit fashion. His head was messy (you know, pretty fucked up and glitch and all) and he often killed victims through shock like most Creepypasta characters. They nicknamed him GLITCHEAD.

You approached him, but you were too afraid to look at him. It was too dark for you to see anything. You were too demented to even care. In your pocket, you remembered you kept some of your beta blockers. You struggled to swallow one of them when the glitch hand stopped you.

You stopped, knowing it was your friend.

Maybe it really is time to stop running away, even if it's just too sad.

You asked him what to do with your life, and he only smiled. So you proposed to just lay down by his side and watch the dark sky with you.

Together, as you both held your cut-scarred arms together, you saw the exoplanet TrES-2b unblock the moon in the sky. You let out a big sigh, and so did he.

You are at peace now.

What? Why are you still scrolling?

The story is over. It's up to you to decide whether they died together or did naughty stuff together or both.

You're still here?
C'mon...
